To all the people that have had to put up with me..

    Apologize-One Republic

    I'm holding on your rope,
Got me ten feet off the ground
I'm hearin what you say but I just can't make a sound
You tell me that you need me
Then you go and cut me down, but wait
You tell me that you're sorry
Didn't think I'd turn around, and say...

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

I'd take another chance, take a fall
    Take a shot for you
And I need you like a heart needs a beat
    But it's nothin new
I loved you with a fire red-
Now it's turning blue, and you say...
"Sorry" like the angel heaven let me think was you
    But I'm afraid...

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

    Bridge (guitar/piano)

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late
It's too late to apologize, yeah
I said it's too late to apologize, yeah-
I'm holdin on your rope, got me ten feet off the ground...

    I'm bored.
This is obvious since I'm in the computer lab for GP and I'm writing in this stupid place.

The question of the day is : Do you agree that learning in the virtual classroom can never be as effective as in the traditional one?

Math test was horrible. Because I was writing (my name) after the teacher said 'Pen's Down!' I was scolded. However, I don't blame the teacher for he's just doing his job afterall.

But it didn't help to bring my spirits up.

However, there are some good points to note! I passed Chem test with flying colours!! This is an uber duper humongous jump from my dismal failing grade the previous one.
    PLUS
I feel ridiculously giddy about my upcoming dinner tonight.

Gha is leaving for Norway tonight. No more chicken gha, only fish. (Chicken is her favourite meat dish)
I'm experiencing conflicting emotions about it. I'm so proud and glad for her, but also sad. (Gha! take me with you!)

    Oh well.

Nat. If I admit myself to IMH, you know who to hunt down. My mental stability is being threatened by the constant presence of THE BIRD. The big YELLOW bird.
    Someone save me!

I think I shall go back on writing the advantages and disadvantages of the virtual classroom.

    My (current) favourite word: harridan

    Give me a D!
    Give me an E!
    Give me a P!
    Give me a R and E!
    Give me a double S!
    Give me an I! N! G!

    What do you get?

    DEPRESSING!

    ...

    I'm a sadist.

I can't do open day because of *cough*, but I have to be at practice anyway.
Oh. And i'm a horrible person who destroys a 'piece of art' created by my friend. Who probably spent ages doing it. I'm really sorry. It wasn't intentional.

Today was eventful. I forgot all my steps. I made people run round the track as punishment (I'm sorry guys. I had no choice)I made people miss appointments. I have math remedial this friday from 7pm-9pm. I messed up my life with one silly thing I did, making it more complicated. I dozed off in chem class... and the list goes on.

I'M SORRY ABOUT THE MISSING THING AND THE RUNNING THING BUT FOR THE REST...

    WHO CARES

I ate 2 slices of wonderful chocolate cake donated from huilin with chocolate milk. I found someone who understands how I feel in school and about my close friends. I learned that procrastination is a sin but I keep doing it (haha! isn't it funny)My sister and I told each other silly jokes. My dad is a wonderful listener.

    Oh happy day.

I want to spend Christmas far away from this place. A place where its not a commercialized event.

Why am I thinking about Christmas?

       Friday, August 10, 2007

Saw some videos just minutes ago and I was really taken with the performance. I really wanted to try a few of the moves, but its too late. I really need practice.

    I'm utterly horrible.

I should've been studying and I'm thinking about dance?!
If my parents' knew they'd kill me.
Especially since I really should be asleep now since I got to wake up at 7am tomorrow. Or today looking at the time...
Plus the fact that I made a promise to myself to improve my grades...

Cross my heart and swear that tomorrow will be the day to 'redeem' myself for not doing enough work today. I've only finished PW, a little history and economics since the short break started, plus dance stuff but is that really considered work?

    National Day has ended.
Had to dance Rhapsody in school and it was terrifying! I had around a week plus to practice plus it was contemporary. Thanks so much to Reg, Shining, Huiting, Chu Yun, Serene, Amanda, Mildred for helping me so much. I hope I didn't make any screw ups. Haha! It was really fun though!

After the performance, Mr Gn treated the girls of SYF Opening Ceremony to lunch at Fish & Co. The portion of food was huge and ate till I was bloated - literally. Since I don't take seafood that well, I merely ordered... Fish and Chips. Plus a drink which I shared with Jer. Plus dessert which was a chocolate cake with hot fudge.
Thinking of it just makes me feel really really full.

Anyway, I shall sleep on the dance moves, and hopefully remember that after Promos.
PROMOS is evil. But necessary I guess. So, I digress.

Inside joke: Its Ma-ri-hua-na. Not Ma-ri-ju-a-na! (we were guessing the pronunciation)

    La di da di da

Western Dance is gonna have a sweater! And because of that I have to use surveymonkey.com for the first time.
Learning things, SOMETIMES, may be kind of fun!

"Let's take a little trip to Singapore Town, in a Singapore city bus! To see Collyer Quay and Raffles Place, the Esplanade and all of us.."

National Day is coming!!! Went to see the preview @ Marina Bay thanks to Mr Gn for giving me tickets and the rest of the dancers who performed at SYF Opening Ceremony. During the show, I felt a sudden gush of patriotism to Singapore. Serious. However, my sister so kindly said that I was being brainwashed. Oh well.

I feel disappointment however, when I see that the not all the people in Singapore are putting up our National flag. I remember how excited I get in the past, just to put up the flag, always fighting with my sisters to see who would get the honour of doing it. I remember walking past the hdb flats and look in amazement at the rows and rows of Singapore flags, and it was spectacular. Sadly, when I look upon the hdb flats now, less than half of the owners put up the national flag, depriving me of one of simple pleasures however weird it may be.
Anyway, Chanel is love. Doing PW on Chanel is so much fun! This has to credited greatly to my wonderful wonderful team members - mel, yi hoong, tis.
Its one of the bright spots in school life for...
    6 WEEKS TO PROMOS!
School's just full of studying, eating and dancing.
I've been credited to being able to choreograph. Haha. That somehow is really hilarious. All I did was some minor thing for the dance for IPerform , WHICH WAS CANCELLED.
Jeez. Segregation between the IP's and Mainstream? What bullshit. I don't think so. IP3 During IP1 and 2, we're 2 years younger. Of course we have to be treated a bit differently. JC life and Secondary life cannot be compared! But I digress. Anyway, close friends of mine in the mainstream do not think there's any segregation. So there.
[this is what I feel, and I am entitled to my own opinion]
Now to the topic I love.
I had wonderful Spaghetti with Pork Chop today, which led to a feeling of nostalgia when I lived in Italy.
    And also,
I learned how to make tang yuan from scratch from my grandma!
Now I can make it whenever I feel like eating!
I am in awe of my grandmother, who cooks super well.
My younger sister and my mum just tried to crack an egg by squeezing it. Both came upstairs laughing themselves silly due to their failed attempts. They are just weak. Hahaha. My dad tried it after persuasion from my younger sis and he cracked it! However, the icky 'juices' have splattered all over the kitchen and my dad is currently cleaning them up. Hahaha!
