Went to ebay for the first time in my life. It was disappointing. The above 2 are the 2 that seem remotely user-friendly. However, on my journey finding a polaroid camera, I realised that THE FILMS ARE REALLY EXPENSIVE.

What's the point of it being cheap if the film is super ex?

F.O.S!

Dad's leaving to Korea, then later to US then Europe.

What's the point of having a birthday if he isn't there?

At least my mum might make it back in time.

Its not about making a fuss on my birthday. Honestly speaking, I think that the celebration of birthdays are often exaggerated by many people. I don't need presents, I just want to be around my friends and family. That's not too much to ask for is it?

.

I digress.

I don't get why the word 'maid' has such a bad connotation to it. Personally, I feel that its those class-conscious people who make a big fuss on calling them 'domestic helpers', for I have never once thought that the word was degrading. One perhaps is self-conscious about the fact, and to bridge the gap, came up with the term 'domestic helper'. However, I do acknowledge that some people use the word 'maid' in a degrading manner, and the more sensitive and caring people will then use the word 'domestic helper' to try to lessen the insult or something. I'm not really sure about that. In the past, maids were just maids. Perhaps it was not the best job around, but to the commoners, it was a job to be envied (so I read in books). It is a legitimate job, and that's just a term. Why add hidden connotations?

.

All these aside, on to one of my favourite topics...

FOOD.

Ate 2 lunches yesterday. One from the caifan uncle (big portion) then later went to Coronation and ate Tori Katsu Don.

And suprisingly I wasn't that full.

Perhaps the huge buffet I ate the other day expanded my appetite.

Reaction: Should I be jumping with joy or shocked with horror?!

But I think moderation is the key, so I'll just eat healthy amounts and not gorge myself.
Now take a step back at revel in this piece of art:
White chocolate cake with truffles
I was just surfing and I saw this video. Its our IP4 seniors graduating video. This made me really sad, not so much that they're leaving, but that I will be going through the same thing as them next year. The wealth of knowledge and memories, all 4 years of them, both good and bad will only leave their imprints on our mind. So, check out this video, and lets treasure every moment that we can spend together.
